BMJ Responsive Design

Our client

The BMJ (formerly the British Medical Journal) is an international peer reviewed medical journal and a fully "online first" publication. It is one of the world's oldest general medical journals.

What they needed

British Medical Journal needed to redesigned their flagship website to make it fully responsive for mobile and desktop devices. This was part of a continuation of its web innovation which began when the British Medical Journal became the first general medical to have full content online access. Another objective for the redesign was to migrate from Drupal 6 to the latest stable version of Drupal 7 as it has more support and better tools for responsive site.
